California Line Dance Association of America (CLDAA)

A community association focused on line dancing. Founded in 2004, the California Line Dance Association of America promotes health and enjoyment through charitable and community activities for people of all ages. Its dance instruction combines western cowboy dance with salsa, cha-cha, hip-hop, and Kung-Fu techniques. CLDAA supports members through classes, events, community outreach, and annual membership programs. The association also offers drop-in class participation, membership cards, clothing, and dance-related CDs. Its activities include efforts to organize large-scale line dancing events, including an attempt to break a North American participation record. Membership options include new, renewing, and lifetime plans, with payment available through Zelle or check. The association is based in San Jose.
