S F Clean City Coalition

Median and public space maintenance is one part of SF Clean City Coalition's landscape and greening work. The San Francisco nonprofit was established in 1991 to help green and beautify the city. Its services also include edible, container, and sidewalk gardens, along with site clean-up. Community beautification and murals, landscape maintenance, power washing, and graffiti abatement are among its listed activities. The coalition provides transitional and ongoing employment opportunities tied to community improvement, with training and employment prioritized for low-income residents. It also offers employment orientations and job placement assistance through its Green City Program. Community education and resources, leadership for neighborhood beautification, and support for long-term maintenance are part of its objectives.
