Expanded Learning Alliance

ExpandLA supports expanded learning providers with resources, knowledge, and capacity building. These programs include before-school, after-school, summer, and intersession activities, also known as out-of-school time, enrichment, or extracurriculars. The organization connects providers and builds collaborative networks to help families and youth find programs. It also advocates for the expanded learning sector, representing providers and working to address gaps and equitable access to funding. ExpandLA brings youth development programs together with school districts, policymakers, and philanthropists. Its work focuses on expanding opportunities for young people across Los Angeles, particularly those from historically marginalized communities. The organization also invites after-school providers to join its efforts.
