Operated by the third and fourth generations.
Southeast of Richmond, Indiana, The Farm at Elkhorn Valley is a private family estate along Elkhorn Creek. It has been operated by the third and fourth generations of the family. Construction of the main residence began around 1818 and was completed around 1828 by the Samuel Shute family. A reconstructed log cabin beside the residence represents the cabin where the family would have lived while the home was being built. The Quigg family purchased the property in 1933. Allen and Carole Brady and their family have owned and operated it since 1993. The property also hosts upcoming events. Its history and continued family ownership are central features of the estate.
