Scratch-made dishes served in the Mid-City neighborhood.
A Cajun and Creole restaurant. Katie's is a family-owned neighborhood restaurant in New Orleans' Mid-City, serving scratch-made Creole comfort food, cocktails, and brunch. The menu includes pizzas, chargrilled oysters, steak night, red beans and rice, and seasonal Thursday crab boils with hot boiled blue and snow crab legs. Weekend brunch is available on Saturdays and Sundays, with bottomless mimosas, Bloody Marys, and sangria. Katie's also offers daily specials, weekday happy hour, online ordering, reservations, gift cards, and private dinner parties. The restaurant opened in 1984 as a neighborhood lunch spot and was rebuilt after Hurricane Katrina before reopening in 2010 with a modern kitchen and full bar.
