Cactus Plus

Cactus+ provides arts education and community programs in Milwaukee, including artist-led workshops, youth internships, film screenings, and artist markets. Its programming also includes music industry foundations workshops, DJ events, a book club, an artist residency, and an emerging artist grant. Some workshops and film programs use sliding-scale pricing. Harm reduction events offer free resources addressing health care access, food and housing justice, and environmentalism. Cactus+ also organizes community-building activities such as an annual block party and fiber club gatherings. Its work grew from Cactus Club's community education, mutual aid, and accessibility initiatives, with a focus on broadening participation in the arts and creating opportunities for marginalized artists. The organization is based in Milwaukee.
