PEARLS for Teen Girls

A Milwaukee nonprofit serving girls in grades 5-12. PEARLS provides weekly groups at schools, community sites, and its office throughout the school year. Programming develops personal and professional skills, supports college and career preparation, and includes activities focused on confidence, healthy relationships, and future goals. The organization began in 1993 as a volunteer effort supporting middle school girls with social, emotional, and practical skills. PEARLS also offers opportunities to host groups, volunteer, provide events or specialty programming, and donate toward programming, snacks, and college and career opportunities. Girls can join a PEARLS group or be referred through the organization's inquiry process.
