About Polynesian Club of Fresno
Weekly classes bring dancers and drummers together to learn and share Polynesian music and dances. The club also books performances and organizes events, including catering, and offers an online merchandise shop. Its work centers on Polynesian cultural traditions, with dance instruction and performances reflecting the music and dances of the islands. Members include multiple generations of families, and classes are led by experienced dance and drumming instructors. The club began in 1972 with a birthday luau that brought together local Polynesians through music and dance. Today, the Polynesian Club of Fresno serves the Fresno community through its classes, cultural performances, and gatherings.
