Zanesville Metropolitan Housing Authority

Housing Choice Vouchers let eligible tenants choose a house, apartment, duplex, or mobile home in Muskingum County, subject to housing quality and rent requirements. The authority also operates public housing in Zanesville, including Coopermill Manor, which has 324 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. Other public housing properties include Adams Circle, Bonifield Court, Larzelere, Maple Terrace, Michael Drive, and Race Circle. Utilities are furnished at Coopermill Manor, and apartments include equipped kitchens and washer and dryer hookups. The authority coordinates housing assistance for nearly 2,800 residents in Muskingum County. It also provides resident programs and services, along with training, employment, contracting, and other economic opportunities for low- and very low-income people, particularly recipients of housing assistance.
