Gamma Ray Inc

Gamma Ray provides community emergency response services. The Chicago organization is a grassroots community service and development organization founded by community members. Its work focuses on providing residents with resources to support thriving neighborhoods, economic development, and social outcomes. Programs include entrepreneurship and employment, youth education, senior and veteran outreach services, and community emergency response. Gamma Ray also offers accessible outreach and development programs and engages volunteers through opportunities to support community growth. The organization reports serving 800 individuals and families with 120 volunteers over 18 years of service. It works with partnering organizations and invites community members to get involved through donations, volunteering, and other forms of support.
