National Youth Advocate Program

Community-based advocacy and care services help children, youth, and families build stability and well-being. Support is tailored through trauma-informed, strengths-based, family-centered practices and individualized service planning. Programs include care management, family support, and services for unaccompanied children and youth. La Jornada offers transitional and long-term foster care, along with home study and post-release services, to promote safety and family reunification when possible. The organization also works with community partners to support safe, healthy home environments and help families meet their goals. Its services are available in Winchester, alongside community-based programs in other areas.
