About Operation Care Encore Shop
The Encore Thrift Shop supports Operation Care's programs for people in need. Ninety-four cents of every dollar raised through the shop goes to the ministry. Operation Care is a Christian nonprofit founded in 1988, offering transitional housing for women and children, state-licensed medical and dental care, emergency assistance, a food pantry, and a charitable pharmacy. Its programs also include holiday support for families through a community Christmas program. The shop is part of a wider set of resources addressing physical, spiritual, emotional, and social needs. Operation Care serves its community in Shelbyville.
