About Wichita Aero Club
The Wichita Aero Club brings together people with an interest in aviation through networking events, speaker luncheons, and discussions of industry issues and achievements. Events feature aviation leaders from across the country and speakers from government, industry, and media. The club also supports young people pursuing STEAM aviation initiatives with scholarships and financial support for aviation-related institutions and career development. Two annual fundraisers include a summer golf tournament and a winter trophy gala recognizing an industry and community leader. Membership options include individual, business, corporate, and industry partner memberships. The club was founded in 1915 and revived in 2008, drawing on Wichita's aviation community. Its activities connect members and promote aviation training in Wichita.
