About Outdoor Mentors
Outdoor Mentors offers youth hunting experiences with mentors. The Wichita-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit creates opportunities for young people to learn traditional outdoor activities in a safe environment. Its programs use outdoor experiences to mentor youth from diverse backgrounds and help them take part in activities such as fishing, hunting, trapping, and shotgun sports. The organization also offers training and education related to outdoor pursuits. Young people can participate in hunts, while adults can join as mentors or coaches. Outdoor Mentors serves youth across the Midwest and invites community members to contribute or participate. Its work centers on connecting young people with mentors who share their time and outdoor knowledge.
