Voice's On the Border-Vida Fund

Based in Washington, VOICES is a community and social services organization working with partners in El Salvador. Its work centers on northern Morazán and the Bajo Lempa and San Juan del Gozo regions of Usulután, alongside social advocacy in San Salvador. The organization collaborates with local partners to build community capacity, sharing information and tools to help protect local interests and advance shared goals. It also operates a small grant program for community-based initiatives that might otherwise go unfunded. VOICES has supported refugees in Honduras since the 1980s and now focuses much of its work in El Salvador. Its approach relies on close relationships with Salvadoran partners and collaborative development.
