NewRoot Learning Institute

NewRoot Learning Institute provides coaching, training, assessments, curriculum, tools, and tailored support to help schools build restorative, student-centered learning environments. Its work develops the capacity of educators, school leaders, school-based teams, coaches, and parents through restorative practices and social-emotional learning. NewRoot begins with a school culture assessment that includes student, teacher, and administrator perspectives, then supports skills development and resource integration to help embed these approaches in everyday learning environments. The organization partners with school districts, community organizations, families, and educators, working primarily in under-resourced communities in Chicago and beyond. NewRoot serves adults who shape youth experiences, with the goal of supporting young people socially, emotionally, and academically.
