HARTT - Humane Animal Rescue and Trapping Team

HARTT is a volunteer-based animal rescue organization. It focuses on field rescue, not adoption services. Volunteers humanely capture lost pets and homeless dogs and cats who are severely injured and difficult to reach or handle through ordinary means. Services include humane trapping and lost pet searches, using specialized strategies, equipment, and sustained search efforts to bring animals to safety. HARTT also provides adoption readiness. Service is available in Maricopa County and the Payson/Rim Country area, depending on volunteer availability. The organization trains and networks with humane trappers in other Arizona counties and has consulted on cases elsewhere. HARTT is supported primarily by public donations and receives no government funding.
