Pastry boutique
Opened in 2022 in the Flatiron District.
A pastry boutique in New York City's Flatiron District. Opened in 2022 by pastry chef Eunji Lee, Lysée presents desserts as edible art. Its menu draws on French pastry training and Korean ingredients, alongside influences from New York City. The boutique's name was inspired by the French word Musée and the idea of a sweet museum. Its design brings together Korean traditional roof tile references and modern New York City elements, including vintage wooden beams from Korea and nacre, a Korean material known as Jagae. Chef Lee trained in France and served as executive pastry chef at Jungsik in New York before opening Lysée. Pastry chef Matthieu Lobry, also classically trained in Paris, is part of the team. The boutique offers pastries and desserts.
