Vision Y Compromiso

Community health workers, known as promotoras, lead the practical programs and activities offered by this community organization. Services include health information and education, community outreach, resource distributions, and gatherings such as weekly Bailoterapia Circles. The organization also provides employment-focused training through Caminos Hacia el Empleo and brings community health workers and leaders together through regional conferences. Its work includes mental health and emotional well-being resources, health equity events, and the Su Salud Está En Sus Manos program, which visits residences in Boyle Heights. The MOVES mobile unit expands health services across Los Angeles County. Vision y Compromiso serves communities throughout California, with its Los Angeles presence connected to local programs and events.
