The Foundry Community

Community support, education, and development are at the center of The Foundry Community's work. It serves purpose-driven organizations through Intern Foundry, an internship program placing students with community-focused organizations for eight hours each week. The organization also provides meeting and event spaces, with available spaces offered for community gatherings. Additional programming includes the upcoming Lilly School of Philanthropy's Fund Raising School. The Foundry supports nonprofit organizations through its community membership and connections, while its partners provide consulting in fundraising, human resources, and nonprofit operations. Its work has included more than 300 organizations impacted, over 180 Foundry members, 61% of nonprofits served, and more than 50 students served in 2025. The Foundry Community is based in Lincoln.
