Mira CIT Development Corporation

MiraCit Development Corporation has developed and rehabilitated more than 300 homes and apartments in Columbus's Mock Road community. The nonprofit leads housing and economic development projects shaped by local voices, with a focus on underserved neighborhoods. Its work includes affordable housing, home ownership programs, senior citizen housing, small business storefronts, and community engagement activities. MiraCit has also helped create more than 125 jobs and supported neighborhood assets such as FCI Plaza, FCI Marketplace, local parks, and education facilities. Established and funded in partnership with Living Faith Apostolic Church, the City of Columbus, HUD, and other partners, MiraCit works from funding through construction on housing and commercial property development. Its initiatives address housing stability, economic opportunity, community participation, and access to neighborhood resources.
