About Chicago Baseball and Educational Academy
Free baseball and fastpitch softball programs, training, and educational opportunities are offered to Chicago youth ages 8 to 18. The Chicago Baseball and Educational Academy connects young people, parents, and community partners with year-round camps, clinics, tournaments, college readiness activities, and social-emotional learning sessions. Participants use indoor training facilities and outdoor ball fields at the University of Illinois Chicago, with skills-based coaching and campus-based mentorship. CBEA also supports community partners through its Community Partner Program and provides access to athletic and educational opportunities for youth from diverse backgrounds and under-resourced neighborhoods. Programs include the Grandyman Youth Tournament and Life Skills & Education. The academy has served Chicago youth since 2016.
