Building and Construction Initiative

A Cleveland nonprofit organization. Building and Construction Initiative provides continuing educational pathways in the construction industry through an Introduction to Construction Skill Building Training Course. Classes are open to individuals aged 13 and up, with enrollment starting in January 2026. The organization supports participants in developing construction skills, standards, practices, and procedures for employment or future general contracting and entrepreneurship. It also offers training opportunities and certification information. Tuition assistance is available for enrollees from low-income communities through contributions, donations, and grants. The organization partners with construction firms, local government, and other industry allies, and invites RRP-certified firms to connect. Its programs are intended to support individuals who want to enter the construction trade and develop workforce skills.
