New Avenues

Based in Cleveland, New Avenues to Independence is a community and social services organization supporting people with disabilities. It offers residential programs, vocational training, community outreach, and employment support to help people live, learn, and work as active members of the community. Services are intended to foster independence, confidence, and participation, while supporting residents in making choices and living on their own terms. New Avenues also provides a camp and has a music therapy choir. Its work includes creating opportunities for people with disabilities to participate meaningfully in community life. The organization has served the Cleveland community and Northeast Ohio for more than 70 years.
