Mission Hill Health Movement

Community health programs and activities are the core of this organization's work. It partners with residents and local organizations to support neighborhood health through education, collaborations, and wellness activities. Programs include health fairs with screenings and health information, diabetes-related surveys and planned neighborhood programs, and resources covering topics such as substance abuse prevention and asthma air quality. A medical escort service provides rides to and from procedures for Mission Hill seniors, veterans, and others in need; reservations are required seven days ahead. The organization also supports community activities such as local farmers markets and the Gore Street Garden.
