About NUBIA
Community programs are NUBIA's core offering. Its Seed & Yield program works with the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center on a plan to develop a formal garden on a lot near King Street and the King Street Play Area in Roxbury for community use. NUBIA has also offered a summer youth program, including summer jobs for up to five students through the Boston Youth Fund's Hopeline lottery process. The seven-week program was described as covering topics including food distribution. These examples reflect neighborhood projects and youth-focused activities. NUBIA is based in Boston, with its reported garden project in Roxbury.
