Wilton Fire Department

Serving the Wilton community since 1947, the volunteer department operates two stations in the Wilton Fire District. It responds to a wide range of emergencies and works to protect lives and property through training, fire prevention, and public education. The department also shares guidance on topics such as outdoor burning and when to call 911 versus a non-emergency line. Volunteers can take part in firefighting or help behind the scenes; the department provides training, gear, and support, with no experience required. It hosts community fundraisers and public board meetings. The department is powered entirely by volunteers.
