Brooklyn Heights Association

A neighborhood association serving Brooklyn Heights. The Brooklyn Heights Association works to maintain and improve quality of life while preserving the area's historic buildings and views. Its community advocacy includes urban planning, neighborhood security, traffic safety, access to good schools, and responses to development concerns. The association builds community through events, membership, volunteering, and connections among neighbors. It also supports local businesses, provides neighborhood resources, and informs residents about issues affecting Brooklyn Heights. Founded in 1910, the BHA has organized committees focused on traffic, zoning, and parks, and continues its work as an organized voice for the neighborhood. The association accepts memberships, donations, and volunteers at its Brooklyn office.
