World Impact

Based in Wichita, World Impact is a nonprofit community organization focused on equipping church leaders and workers to serve urban communities affected by poverty. It offers training through the Evangel School of Urban Church Planting, which prepares Christian leaders to establish churches in under-resourced communities. The Urban Ministry Institute provides church-based seminary curriculum for men and women in communities of poverty. Prison Ministry offers seminary education for people who are incarcerated and trains church workers to disciple formerly incarcerated people. Trauma Healing equips urban ministry leaders to facilitate Bible-based healing groups. Programs are designed for church-based use, with accessible curriculum and training intended to help local leaders develop and lead their own ministries. Donations support access to these programs.
