Wat Munivongsa

Buddhist ceremonies, spiritual guidance, and community programs are central to Munivongsa Buddhist Temple. The temple shares Theravāda Buddhist teachings and preserves Khmer and Khmer Krom heritage through worship, meditation, Dharma learning, and cultural celebrations. Monks provide blessings, prayer support, funerals, house ceremonies, and guidance in mindfulness. The center welcomes people of all backgrounds, including Khmer American, Khmer Krom, and Southeast Asian families. Community events include Buddhist holy days and Khmer New Year. Volunteers can support temple upkeep, events, cooking, teaching, and community projects; donations and offerings of food or supplies help sustain temple activities and monastic needs. Located in Wichita, the temple serves as a place for spiritual practice, cultural understanding, and community connection.
