About Wheatland Mission Church
Saturday worship begins at 5:30 PM at Wheatland Mission Church in Wichita. The church is a learning community seeking to become practicing disciples of Jesus Christ, with a liturgy that includes communion. Children can join the service or spend time with nursery workers; preschool and elementary students are also dismissed during the sermon and return for communion. Middle and high school students attend the service and have a separate Wednesday meeting. The community gathers for Scripture and prayer on Zoom Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, with an additional Friday gathering at the Ladder and on Zoom. Sermons are shared as audio through a podcast and as video recordings on Facebook. Wheatland meets in space shared by Sunnyside Baptist Church.
