Each gown at Voeux Couture is cut to the bride's individual measurements rather than a standard size chart. The independent bridal house on Wisconsin Avenue in Georgetown offers private gown consultations, made-to-measure designs, and sample gowns by appointment. Its selection includes gowns from Le Spose di Giò, MT, ZAKAA Couture, and Weilu Fresolone, with customization options available from many designers. The boutique also provides bridal alterations for gowns purchased there or elsewhere, including dresses bought online or inherited. Work includes reshaping and structural adjustments, hemming, bustle creation, and changes to straps or sleeves. Alterations are also offered for bridesmaids, mothers of the bride or groom, and wedding guests. Founder Jas began her career as an alterations specialist and leads fittings through the final appointment.
