Humanity Within Foundation

A community and social services foundation. Humanity Within Foundation advocates alongside communities and supports families navigating systems that affect their lives. Founded in 2021, it focuses on community engagement, accountability, and amplifying residents' voices. The foundation works to connect families with resources and help people closest to community issues speak for themselves. Its work is rooted in lived experience and aims to support underserved communities through advocacy and inclusive growth. Humanity Within also powers DC Deny, a youth basketball program centered on athlete development, discipline, and accountability. The program offers practices, games, league play, and select local tournaments, while developing players' skills, basketball IQ, decision-making, and team concepts. It serves athletes learning the game as well as those preparing for high school competition.
