About Awake America Ministries
Awake America Ministries is a Christian community and social services ministry. It encourages people of faith to pray for the country and its leaders, build relationships with government representatives, and guide churches in biblical political engagement. Its annual Capitol Connection conference brings pastors to Washington, D.C., to meet and pray with their representatives. The ministry says pastors have attended from 49 states, and the event has included delivering a reproduction of the Aitken Bible to members of Congress. Awake America also educates pastors about governmental affairs so they can engage their congregations in civic life. Its work centers on connecting people of faith with government and encouraging their involvement in communities and the nation.
