About Chief Petty Officer Scholarship Fund
Scholarships support eligible spouses and dependent children of U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officers. The Chief Petty Officer Scholarship Fund is a nonprofit established to generate and distribute funds for educational opportunities. It also raises scholarship funds through online coin auctions, direct giving, paycheck allotments, event sponsorships, and silent auction donations. Its Best of the Mess culinary competition is another sponsored event. The organization shares information about scholarship recipients and ways to contribute, including sponsorship levels for the competition. Based in Virginia Beach, it serves qualified family members of Navy Chief Petty Officers, including natural-born, adopted, and stepchildren. Its work centers on educational funding for these families.
