Riverdale Neighborhood House

Universal Pre-K is among Riverdale Neighborhood House's programs. Founded in 1872, this Northwest Bronx community center provides services, classes, and activities for residents across generations. Its offerings include after-school enrichment, college preparation, teen internships, adult classes, community art and fitness classes, and senior telephone reassurance. RNH also operates a community pool and Food and Farm Hub with an urban garden and mutual-aid fridge. Throughout the year, the organization hosts neighborhood events such as skillshares, community activities, celebrations, talks, concerts, and seasonal gatherings. Riverdale Neighborhood House serves the broader community from its location on Mosholu Avenue in the Bronx and has operated as a settlement house for more than 150 years.
