Our Bronx

Our Bronx is a grassroots community and social services organization in the Bronx. A 5,000-plus member-led group, it works toward racial justice and economic democracy through community ownership, shared governance, and collective leadership. Its borough-wide approach brings together decades of organizing with planning and development expertise following a merger with the Bronx Cooperative Development Initiative. Since 1974, the organization has supported efforts focused on building a just, democratic, and sustainable local economy. Community members, partners, and allies lead and sustain its work, with opportunities to get involved and support ongoing initiatives.
