Lloyd's Carrot Cake

This is a bakery in the Riverdale section of the Bronx. It makes carrot cake from scratch, along with other cakes, pies, and muffins. The business opened in 1986, after founder Lloyd Adams developed its carrot cake recipe from one given to him by his mother. The bakery supplies baked goods to patrons and businesses in the tri-state area and beyond. Following Lloyd Adams's passing in 2007, his wife, Betty Campbell-Adams, continued the business. Their children, Lilka and Brandon, now lead it with the help of the bakery's staff. Its offerings center on scratch-made cakes and other baked goods.
