Family support and community services are offered through Catholic Guardian Services programs for children, families, and individuals throughout New York City. The agency provides foster care and family permanency services, mental health care, developmental disability support, preventative programs, and immigration services. Its Healthy Families Parkchester program offers free, voluntary home-based support and guidance to expecting and new parents in specified Bronx ZIP codes. Family Support Specialists work with participating families and provide long-term home support until a child reaches age five. The agency also operates mental health clinics in the Bronx and Harlem, supports children and families with trauma-informed care, and provides community-based residential services for individuals with developmental disabilities. Services are available in the Bronx.
