Interactive game design and production is the core offering. Green Door Labs creates digital, physical, and hybrid experiences using formats such as text, audio, pixels, and objects. Its projects turn organizational content into interactive stories and games, including educational experiences for nonprofits and cultural organizations. Organizations can commission custom projects or license the Edventure Builder, a text-based platform for creating and editing content, teaching courses, guiding visitors through spaces, and letting students or families build and revise games. Consulting is also available through three meetings focused on goals, resources, design parameters, and an initial prototype, with a preliminary design document and production schedule as deliverables. The company works with museums, libraries, nonprofits, and other organizations, and is based in Somerville, Massachusetts.
