The Washington Bus

A youth-led community and social services organization. The Washington Bus builds political power and leadership among young people across Washington State, with an emphasis on those historically disenfranchised. It provides youth-specific civic engagement presentations for students and community groups from Seattle to Spokane. Programs develop skills in advocacy, organizing, and governance through hands-on experience and mentorship, preparing participants for roles in nonprofits, political campaigns, and government institutions. The organization also works on issue campaigns, policy advocacy, strategic narratives, and electoral organizing. Its activities include voter registration outreach and opportunities for young leaders to organize peers around social and political issues. The Washington Bus serves as a political home and organizing base for young Washingtonians seeking civic involvement.
