Casey Family Programs

Seattle-based Casey Family Programs is a foundation focused on safely reducing the need for foster care and improving children's safety and well-being. It works with states, territories, Tribal Nations, public child welfare systems, policymakers, courts and community partners to strengthen families and support children staying safely in their homes and communities. The foundation helps develop practices and policies suited to local needs, and uses its experience to inform child welfare practice and policy. It also directly serves youth and families involved in the child welfare system, demonstrating and sharing strategies to improve child safety. Its work spans the United States and includes support for communities seeking lasting improvements in how they protect and nurture children and families.
