About Elemental Music
Elemental Music provides after-school music ensembles and extracurricular classes for elementary, middle, and high school students in Santa Monica and surrounding Westside areas. Students attend weekly, in-person rehearsals at family-friendly locations, with instruction available in classical guitar, youth orchestra, concert band, chamber music, music composition, jazz band, youth choir, and other formats. The programs include drum circle drop-in classes and seasonal concerts, giving young musicians opportunities to rehearse and perform together. Elemental Music serves students from early ages through high school, with low student-teacher ratios, teaching artists, and tuition reduction for qualified families. Its specialties include youth ensembles and music education focused on collaborative performance. The organization is based in Santa Monica, California.
