Women's Funding Network

A network of more than 120 women's funds and foundations forms the core of Women's Funding Network. The San Francisco-based philanthropic alliance advances gender equality and justice by supporting gender justice leaders and advocates. Its work includes research and education, strategic initiatives, events, advocacy, and collective efforts to raise awareness and mobilize resources. WFN develops strategies with its members to address systemic gender and racial inequality at the community level. It also convenes funders and partners through events such as the WFN Summit, where participants explore issues affecting feminist movements and ways to shift power. The network focuses on strengthening women's funds and foundations and expanding gender-lens philanthropy.
