DePelchin Children's Center

Foster care, counseling, and family support are among the services offered to children and the families who care for them. DePelchin Children's Center also provides kinship care, parenting programs, and residential services, with a focus on safe, caring homes. Counseling is available to children and families through clinicians trained in approaches that include play therapy and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. The center supports prospective foster and adoptive parents and accepts referrals for families who may benefit from its programs. Volunteers contribute time to support the organization's work. DePelchin is based in Houston and serves children and families in and around San Antonio, as well as other Texas communities.
