Northwestern Settlement

A Chicago nonprofit community and social services organization. Northwestern Settlement has served children and families since 1891 through integrated support, educational programming, and partnerships. Its services include early childhood education and childcare, an elementary school, youth development, out-of-school-time programs, and outdoor education. Emergency Services provides urgent temporary assistance such as food, clothing, household items, direct assistance, referrals, holiday assistance, benefit access, health screenings, and translation. The Family CARES Community Mental Health Center offers care and support, while the food pantry serves individuals annually. Programs also help working families, young people, and residents facing fundamental needs. The organization provides opportunities to participate, volunteer, and donate in support of its community programs.
