Alamo Heights Counseling

EMDR is one of the trauma-focused therapies offered at Alamo Heights Counseling. The San Antonio practice provides individual counseling, family counseling, and marriage counseling, using a variety of psychotherapy approaches. Services also include hypnoanalysis and counseling for people facing life transitions, trauma aftereffects, or ongoing mental health concerns. The practice serves the greater San Antonio area and nearby communities, and has been serving the area since 2011. Substance abuse groups and counseling connected to foster care or open CPS cases require a caseworker referral. Practicums, internships, and clinical supervision are also available for clinicians. Most court-related services, including custody evaluations and supervised visitation, are no longer offered through the practice as of 2024.
