About Choice Academy
Choice Academy is a private school. It serves students in grades 6 through 10, with grades 11 and 12 planned to follow. Students and parents choose an online curriculum that must meet state graduation requirements, while degreed teachers provide on-site supervision and help with basic tutoring needs. Staff can advise families when additional subject tutoring may be needed. Electives are offered upon request, with instructors brought in as needed for subjects such as languages, arts, sewing, computer science, and robotics. The school is designed for students interested in entrepreneurship or creative pursuits who struggle with a traditional school setting. Students bring their own school supplies and a laptop or iPad with headphones. Choice Academy is located on Buck Jones Road in Raleigh.
