Classical repertoire
Songs from many cultures form the choir's repertoire.
Classical choral education and performance are at the center of Arizona Girlchoir. The nonprofit community choir serves girls and women through student ensembles, a women's choir, and an early-childhood music class. Singers develop pitch, tone matching, breath control, vocal range, music literacy, and choral performance skills during rehearsals. Vocal assessments help place singers in an ensemble suited to their experience. The repertoire includes classical songs from many cultures. The program offers formal concerts, community performances, summer camps, and tours, along with opportunities to attend a rehearsal. Singers are as young as four, and family members can participate together. Arizona Girlchoir has provided choral education since 2011 and is based in Phoenix.
