About Kith + Kin
A child-led play space and family recreation center. Kith + Kin offers open-ended play for young children, with an environment designed to encourage motor, cognitive, language, and social development. Educational classes provide programming for families, while support groups and workshops offer parents opportunities for connection and learning. The space also includes relaxed seating, a cafe, a lounge, and a community book exchange focused on pregnancy and parenting. Its Onward, Fam! initiative works to reduce barriers to family programming through discounted access, scholarships for select classes and workshops, and a free essentials bin. The initiative also builds partnerships with community organizations serving families in Philadelphia.
